Abbotsford/Mission Water Week for Grade 4’s
During the month of May each year at Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre
Volunteers are needed to help grade 4 students move through a series of fn water station activities.

Abbotsford Library Reading Buddy Program
Volunteers are needed now for the Reading Buddies program at the Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford. Do you have one hour a week to spare? Reading Buddies pairs adult volunteers and high school students with children in grades 1 – 4 who need extra help with their reading skills.
Applications are available in the ATSS Counselling Centre or phone Liz at the Library 604-853-7930.

Abbotsford Food Bank
Abbotsford food bank is always looking for volunteers, go here for all the information.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital Volunteen Program
Students are accepted into this program at various times in the school year.
Applications are available from the ATSS Counselling Centre.
Completed applications must be handed in to the “greeter desk” at ARH.
Teens from 15 to 18 years of age attending school in Abbotsford are invited to apply.
Students roles are working as a hospital greeter and working in the library.
Applicants must have volunteer experience and the intent to pursue a future in healthcare.
Applications will be reviewed and successful candidates will be invited to participate in small group interviews.
Selected candidates must attend a mandatory orientation and unit or department specific training.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital Rotation Program (Hospital Academy)
Only 1 ATSS student is admitted during each semester.
Students must be between 16 and 18 years of age.
Students observe medical professionals in a number of different areas in the hospital.
Applications are available from your Counsellor.
Students need a TB Test and Resume.
